Getting Started — Your First Hour
The fastest path from launch to your first Rebirth, based on what experienced players actually do.
Welcome to Brainblast a Lucky Block! This guide walks you through everything you should do in your first 60 minutes so you can reach your first Rebirth without burning Robux or grinding low-rarity zones. Every step below is ordered the way experienced players approach the early game — start at the top and work down.
Step 1 — Redeem the Working Codes
Before you do anything else, open the Codes page and redeem every active code. The current pool includes:
UPDATE3— 1 Exclusive Lucky BlockILOVEYALL— A bundle of Boost PotionsDONTEXPLOIT— Free Potions + 1 Exclusive Lucky Block
Redeem them inside the Shop menu (bottom of the screen). Codes expire, so do this before you spend a single coin.
Step 2 — Build Brain Power First
Your Brain Power stat controls how far your Lucky Block flies. Higher distance = higher rarity zone = rarer Brainrots. The fastest way to raise Brain Power is to lift weights — see the Brain Power guide for the optimal upgrade order. For your first hour, focus on the basic weights and ignore the expensive ones.
Step 3 — Blast Your First Lucky Block
Once your Brain Power is in the thousands, blast your first Lucky Block and watch the Brainrot it spawns. Every kick triggers a return trip to your Base — survive the trip and you keep the Brainrot. Lose it, and you start over.
Step 4 — Place Every Brainrot Immediately
Your Base has pedestals that earn passive income for whatever Brainrot is placed on them. Empty pedestals earn nothing. Even a Common Brainrot is worth placing — every coin counts in the first hour. Use the Tier List to prioritise which units to upgrade first.
Step 5 — Upgrade Speed Before Chasing Zones
The deeper the zone, the faster the return trip wave chases you back. If you cannot outrun the wave, your Brainrot despawns and you lose the drop. Invest a few coins into Speed upgrades before chasing the high-rarity zones. The exact threshold is covered in the Brain Power guide.
Step 6 — Plan Your First Rebirth
A Rebirth resets your Brain Power to zero but grants a permanent cash multiplier. The first Rebirth pays for itself within 30 minutes for any player who has placed at least one Mythic Brainrot. Use our Rebirth ROI tool to model the exact timing for your run.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
How long should my first session be?
Plan for at least 30-45 minutes. The first Rebirth pays for itself only if you can stay in the loop long enough to rebuild power after the reset.
Should I spend Robux during the first hour?
Only if a Bundle includes a permanent Brain Power boost. Skip consumables — codes cover them for free.
What is the fastest way to earn my first 1K Brain Power?
Lift the basic weights and tap the x2 button whenever it appears during lifting. The [Brain Power guide](/guides/how-to-build-brain-power/) has the full upgrade order.
Where do I find more codes?
Bookmark the [Codes page](/codes/) — it is updated at the start of every month and within 24 hours of every new event.
Should I join the Pasta Devs group?
It is optional, but joining gets you announcements first. There is no in-game benefit from joining.
How do I know when to Rebirth?
Use the [Rebirth ROI tool](/tools/rebirth-roi/) — it models the exact time-to-payback based on your current income and Brain Power.
